Particularly, maintenance is performed to restore functionality of an asset, and to improve its reliability . In order to achieve the required reliability, organisations adopt maintenance regimes that are influenced by their business strategies and objectives . The requisites for the execution of maintenance tasks are; spare parts, time, and labour . Obviously, these requisites should be managed, and their management is referred to as maintenance logistics.
